Here's a rustic 17 year old cat. A little background first, the cat's in love with Amanda and I. Won't drink water from a bowl, you have to run the faucet for him...every hour or so (think it's because his kidneys are shot). If you call his name, he will follow you anywhere you go. Hence this video. The footage is from summer 2005, I'd get tired of sitting around and I'd go out and take pictures with my video camera. (makes sense, eh?) So one day I filmed the cute striding cat that is Midnight as he came to every command. I had him walk nearly a whole block. There is no main story nor purpose for this video other than letting me exercise that old part of the brain I use for video editing. I wanted to see how the cameras quality held up when changing the video type., but like I said it's just something to play around with. After all, this website is my portfolio.
Camera; Sony VX2000. Vegas Video 5 was used to edit, clean up, and render the footage. The music is none other than RATATAT's Wildcat. It's rendered from 30FPS to 24FPS, attempted to de-interlace using some basic methods and simple filters and layers. I know some will say "It's grainy!" but that's what I'm shooting for to look more like film! This sucker is 25MB, so let it load, it's worth it!
